Apache Design Solutions Wins EDN Magazine's 2003 Innovation of the Year Award

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - March 30, 2004 - Apache Design Solutions Inc. was chosen as the winner for this year's EDN "Innovation of the Year" Award. Apache was a finalist in two categories of this exclusive awards program that honors truly outstanding electronic products, as well as the creative engineers who invent them. EDN's worldwide audience of electronics engineers and engineering managers, EDN's editorial staff, and the EDN Editorial Advisory Board selected the winner.

Apache's RedHawk-SDL won the "Innovation of the Year" award in the "EDA Physical Analysis" category against three other finalists (Magma Design Automation, Sequence Design, and TDA Systems). RedHawk-SDL, a full-chip dynamic (transient) power integrity solution for SoC design, provides a first of its kind Vectorless Dynamic™ solution based on switching and propagation statistics for full-chip coverage. RedHawk-SDL delivers SoC capacity with SPICE-level accuracy.
