Apache Design Solutions Adds EDA Veteran Dian Yang to Executive Team
Mountain View, Calif. – July 18, 2005 – Apache Design Solutions, the technology leader in physical power integrity solutions for system-on-chip (SoC) designs, today announced that Dr. Dian Yang has joined the company as vice president of business development and general manager of Asia. He reports to Andrew Yang, Apache’s chairman and chief executive officer (CEO). “I am excited to have someone of Dian’s caliber join Apache as we enter our next major stage of growth,” said Andrew Yang. “His past experience with the EDA industry and his extensive knowledge of the Asia market will serve us well as we continue to grow our market share in Asia, as well as world wide.” Yang has more than 18 years of experience in the EDA and semiconductor industries. Most recently, he was co-founder and CEO of InnoLogic Systems, a provider of formal verification solutions for full-custom designs. InnoLogic was acquired by Synopsys in 2003, where he continued as a senior director leading the adoption and advancement of the InnoLogic products. Prior to InnoLogic, Yang held various management positions in SGI/ MIPS, LSI, and Avant! Yang received his Ph.D. and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Shanghai University of Science and Technology.
