Apache’s PsiWinder Named Finalist for EDN Innovation of the Year Awards
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – February 6, 2006 - Apache Design Solutions Inc., the technology leader in physical power integrity solutions for system-on-chip (SoC) designs has been selected from a field of hundreds as a finalist for this year's EDN Innovation Awards. Apache’s PsiWinder product, launched in 2005, is a critical timing sign-off tool for nanometer designs that enable designers to accurately analyze the impact of jittering and skew caused by power supply and crosstalk noise, on performance of the clock network. ”We are extremely pleased to be a finalist and once again recognized by EDN,” said Andrew Yang, CEO Apache Design Solutions. “In 2004, Apache’s first product, RedHawk, was selected as the Innovation of the Year winner, and its founding team as a finalist for the Innovators of the Year. This year’s nomination for PsiWinder demonstrates Apache’s commitment to continuously innovate and deliver solutions that meet the challenges faced by SoC designers, now and into the future.” More about the EDN Innovation Awards The exclusive EDN Innovation Awards honor truly outstanding electronic products ranging from integrated circuits to test equipment, as well as the creative engineers who invent them. The finalists in each of the category were selected by the EDN's technical editors. In the next few weeks, EDN's worldwide audience of electronics engineers and engineering managers will use an online ballot to select the ultimate winners from among these finalists. EDN's editorial staff and the EDN Editorial Advisory Board also take part in determining the final winners. Visit www.edn.com/innovation to review each of the nominees. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on April 3, 2006 in San Jose. Apache Design Solutions, NSPICE, RedHawk, PsiWinder, and Vectorless Dynamic are trademarks of Apache Design Solutions, Inc.
